An American Barn Owl (Tyto furcata) glances towards the late afternoon sun. This bird is native to most of the United States, all of Central American and through South America to Tierra del Fuego.

Been a fan of the barn owl ever since the first time I saw one for the time, as a kid in the 80s, in the opening scene of Labyrinth (1987). Soo graceful. Like the one in this image appears to be as well. You not only captured beauty, but also that owl lost in his own moment.
