Artist's Description
Sadly, this iconic lighthouse on the Oregon Coast was riddled with bullets fired by a couple of thugs with semi-automatic weapons which shattered its irreplaceable fresnel lens, Photo taken at the summer solstice in 1999, looking straight into the setting sun as it refracted through that beautiful lens.
The lighthouse was designed and built in the late 1880s.
