Description
Do you believe in magic? On occasion, magic just happens here in the American West as witnessed by this brilliant flash of color during a stormy summer sunset. I was hoping for lightning, but Nature offered up something even more spectacular.
This photograph was made during the summer monsoon season here in southern Arizona, looking southwest from the Tucson Mountains over Altar Valley southwest of Tucson as the sunset lit up a layer of rain clouds bright crimson which dimly illuminated the cactus in the foreground.
