Photograph - 35mm Film Photography
Description
"Evening Storm Vista" was the result of a (ongoing) quest, to catch a bolt of lightning with a sunset as background. The summer storm built up a few miles west of Tucson, Arizona and I made this photograph from Tucson Mountain Park and Saguaro National Park overlooking the Altar Valley, the Tohono O'Odham Reservation, plus the Roskgrug and Santa Rosa Mountains.
Kitt Peak is in the distance to the southwest.
"Evening Storm Vista" is formatted in the 1:2 ratio vista size for where strikingly beautiful, bold and colorful landscape art is desired to satisfy a demanding interior design requirement. It can be obtained in lengths up to 7 feet wide for presentation on large walls, corridors, meeting rooms and open interior spaces. This photograph can be found in my American Landscape Vistas collection, along my Sunset Vistas and Lightning, Striking Images In Nature collections.

Wonderful, Douglas. What a great moment to witness and catch through the lens. Somehow I expect Noah's ark to come floating by. LF+
