Description
"Tucson Mountain Lightning" was my second photograph of lightning, captured on the same magic roll as "Summer Sunset", as well as "Summit Strike". The location was in Saguaro National Park (West) near Tucson, Arizona. Catching lightning was a long held desire since even before I was struck as a young man. I was delighted to see this bolt discharge above the mountain in the background where my lens was pointed, and while the camera shutter was open. This has happened many more times in my life, and the thrill is just as great as this first time.
